Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 51:1107
- Business: includes any commercial type activity whether conducted by an individual, firm, partnership, corporation, association or insurance company, provided such commercial type activity is located and doing business within the state of Louisiana. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 51:1101
- person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 1:10
No corporation organized under the provisions of this Chapter shall lend money to any person engaged in the business of lending money to any other person for profit.
