§ 40:1300.61	This Part shall be known and may be cited as the “Local Option for Mitragynine Speciosa”.

Local government: means a parish or municipality, as provided pursuant to Article VI, Sections 1 and 2 of the Constitution of Louisiana. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:1300.62
