Terms Used In Louisiana Children's Code 418

  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.

When another statute uses the term “juvenile court” or “juvenile judge” for purposes of proceedings under this Code, those terms shall be construed to mean “court” or “judge” as defined in Article 116.
