- public record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in perceivable form. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 16102
- Restitution: The court-ordered payment of money by the defendant to the victim for damages caused by the criminal action.
Personal information contained in an application for restitution assistance under this subchapter is not subject to disclosure to the extent the information is designated as not a public record by section 16607, subsection 2, paragraph E. [PL 2021, c. 576, §1 (NEW).]
