1. Annual financial report. The corporation shall submit annually to the Governor, the Executive Director of the Legislative Council and the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over economic development matters, not later than 120 days after the close of the corporation‘s fiscal year, a complete report on the activities of the corporation. The report may also be provided to any other member of the Legislature and to any other person. The report must include all of the following for the previous fiscal year:

B. An accounting of the corporation’s receipts and expenditures, assets and liabilities at the end of its fiscal year; [PL 2021, c. 631, §1 (NEW).]
C. A listing of all property transactions pursuant to section 13205; [PL 2021, c. 631, §1 (NEW).]
D. An accounting of all activities related to the Maine Space Complex Fund under section 13206; [PL 2021, c. 631, §1 (NEW).]

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 5 Sec. 13211

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • complex: means the Maine Space Complex established pursuant to section 13203, subsection 1. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 5 Sec. 13202
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Corporation: means the Maine Space Corporation established in section 13201. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 5 Sec. 13202
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
