Terms Used In Michigan Laws 207.531
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
- Tax: means the state real estate transfer tax imposed under this act. See Michigan Laws 207.522
- Treasurer: means the state treasurer. See Michigan Laws 207.522
The treasurer shall credit the proceeds of the tax collected by county treasurers under this act to the state treasury to the credit of the state school aid fund established in section 11 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963.
