  • assessments: includes all liens other than taxes which were, at the time of declaration of default, included in the amount necessary to redeem the property under Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 4101) of Part 7, and included in the amount necessary to redeem the property from sale to any taxing agency entitled to share in the proceeds. See California Water Code 11842
  • assessments: includes all liens charged on the secured roll which are not determined by the application of an ad valorem tax rate. See California Water Code 12581
  • bonds: means revenue bonds, notes, refunding bonds, refunding notes, bond anticipation notes, certificates of indebtedness, and other evidences of indebtedness payable from the sources provided in this chapter. See California Water Code 11700
  • California Register: means the California Register of Historic Resources. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • Commission: means the State Historical Resources Commission. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • Concession: as used in this article , does not include those premises at El Pueblo de Los Angeles State Historic Park which are primarily rented and used for offices, banking, or storage. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11272
  • department: means the Department of Parks and Recreation and "director" means the Director of Parks and Recreation. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 60365
  • Fund: means the California Heritage Fund created pursuant to Section 5079. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • fund: includes :

  • Hostel facility: means a supervised overnight lodging or sleeping accommodation provided primarily for use by persons, including bicyclists and hikers, arriving at state park system units and local and regional parks and recreation areas. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11318
  • Office: means the State Office of Historic Preservation. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • Preservation: means identification, evaluation, recordation, documentation, curation, acquisition, protection, management, rehabilitation, restoration, stabilization, maintenance, and reconstruction, or any combination of those activities. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • Special assessment: as used in this chapter , means any assessment levied pursuant to any of the improvement acts of the State of California, whether or not represented by a bond, and which are liens upon a specific parcel of real property. See California Water Code 11465
  • state hospital: means any hospital specified in Section 4100. See California Welfare and Institutions Code 4001
  • Stewardship: means the development and implementation of programs for the proper care, interpretation, and repose of items of historic and cultural value. See California Revenue and Taxation Code 11571
  • taxes: includes all liens determined by the application of an ad valorem tax rate which were, at the time of declaration of default, included in the amount necessary to redeem the property under Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 4101) of Part 7. See California Water Code 11841
  • taxes: includes all taxes, assessments, installments of assessments charged on the current secured roll, and payments in lieu of taxes on property belonging to the United States. See California Water Code 12405
  • taxes: includes all taxes and assessments charged on the current unsecured roll. See California Water Code 12573
  • taxes: includes all liens charged on the secured roll which are determined by the application of an ad valorem tax rate. See California Water Code 12580
  • taxes: includes all taxes and assessments charged on the delinquent unsecured roll or abstract list of delinquent unsecured taxes. See California Water Code 12585
  • Treasurer: as used in this chapter , means any person who is the custodian of the funds collected on special assessments and/or has the duty to cancel the assessments upon the payment thereof. See California Water Code 11464
