- certificate: means a certificate issued pursuant to sections 4, 5, and 6. See Michigan Laws 207.772
- Local governmental unit: means a city, village, or township. See Michigan Laws 207.772
- Qualified assessing authority: means 1 of the following:
(i) For a facility other than a homestead facility, the commission. See Michigan Laws 207.772
Not more than 60 days after receipt by its clerk of an application under section 4, the governing body of the local governmental unit by resolution shall approve the application for a neighborhood enterprise zone certificate. The clerk shall forward the application to the qualified assessing authority.
