  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    All contracts, deeds or other instruments conveying to the state, through Frank F. Rogers and Thad D. Seeley, trustees, certain lands for state trunk line highways, are hereby approved and declared to be legal transfers of such lands to the state.
