  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.      The revenues received from the charges levied under section 2126, less amounts necessary to pay the expenses of administering this subpart, shall be credited to the state fund from which the revenue is appropriated for the payment in lieu of taxes on the land crossed.
