Terms Used In Michigan Laws 324.30710

  • Delegated authority: means the county drain commissioner or any other person designated by the county board to perform duties required under this part. See Michigan Laws 324.30701
  • Department: means the director of the department of natural resources or his or her designee to whom the director delegates a power or duty by written instrument. See Michigan Laws 324.301
   If the department or the delegated authority determines that it is necessary to condemn private property for the purpose of this part, the department or county may condemn the property in accordance with the uniform condemnation procedures act, Act No. 87 of the Public Acts of 1980, being section 213.51 to 213.77 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
