- Commission: means the commission of natural resources. See Michigan Laws 324.301
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The Mackinac Island state park commission may promulgate and enforce reasonable rules for the care and preservation of Michilimackinac state park, for the maintenance of good order, for the protection of property and for the welfare of the park as shall from time to time be considered necessary or expedient by the Mackinac Island state park commission.
