  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  If the applicant is a corporation, the application shall be signed and verified by the president, secretary and treasurer thereof, and shall specify the name of the corporation, the date and place of its incorporation, the location of its principal place of business, and the name of the city, town or village, stating the street and number, and such other description as will indicate the location of the bureau, agency, subagency, office or branch office for which the license is desired, and shall be accompanied by a duly certified copy of a certificate of incorporation.
