  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    The moneys derived by authority of said act shall be exclusively used in the support of co-operative agricultural extension work, to be carried on by the Michigan state college of agriculture and applied science, and the business manager of the state board of agriculture is hereby designated as the officer to whom such funds should be paid.
