(1) The department of labor shall administer and enforce the provisions of this act relative to occupational safety.
  (2) The department of public health shall administer and enforce the provisions of this act relative to occupational health.

  • in writing: shall be construed to include printing, engraving, and lithographing; except that if the written signature of a person is required by law, the signature shall be the proper handwriting of the person or, if the person is unable to write, the person's proper mark, which may be, unless otherwise expressly prohibited by law, a clear and classifiable fingerprint of the person made with ink or another substance.   (3) The department of labor and department of public health shall report annually by January 31 in writing to the committees on labor and public health of the house of representatives and committees on labor and health, social services and retirement of the senate specifying the provisions of this act where the authority of the departments overlap, and all agreements and administrative procedures to coordinate joint enforcement of the act. Any changes in these agreements or administrative procedures must be reported in writing to the committees on labor and public health of the house of representatives and committees on labor and health, social services and retirement of the senate within 15 days of the changes.
