(1) This act shall supersede any acts or parts of acts inconsistent with or in conflict with this act, but only to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict.

  (2) Any reference in any law to the workforce opportunity wage act, 2014 PA 138, MCL 408.411 to 408.424, shall be considered a reference to this act.
