  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    The township board may use unappropriated money in its general fund to pay for a portion of the annual fire protection cost described in section 20c, including money received under the provisions of section 8 and 10 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963.
