Michigan Laws 445.1678 – Civil or criminal liability

Person: means an individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, association, governmental entity, or any other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 445.1651a
state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o

This act does not relieve a person from civil or criminal liability under other laws of this state or any federal law.
