- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The department of state police may promulgate rules necessary to the accomplishment of the purpose of this act. The administrative rules promulgated and filed with the secretary of state on June 22, 1984 and any subsequent revisions to those rules were rescinded effective January 1, 1996 by 1995 PA 265.
