  • Joint committee: Committees including membership from both houses of teh legislature. Joint committees are usually established with narrow jurisdictions and normally lack authority to report legislation.
  • Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any person or organization who has received a notice of denial of application for development of a specialty plate may make a request to the joint committee on transportation oversight within fifteen days of receipt of the notice for a review of the committee’s determination at a hearing before the committee at a time deemed appropriate.
