- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
Any nonresident of Missouri who enters the state and intends to provide a service or practice for which a license is required pursuant to sections 334.735 to 334.749 may apply for a license, provided that the applicant meets the requirements imposed by the certifying entity.
