  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Notwithstanding section 610.120, the sheriff of any county, the sheriff of the City of St. Louis, and the judges of the circuit courts of this state may make available, for review, information obtained from the central repository to private entities responsible for probation supervision pursuant to sections 559.600 to 559.615. When the term of probation is completed or when the material is no longer needed for purposes related to the probation, it shall be returned to the court or destroyed. Criminal history information obtained from the central repository may be made available to private entities responsible for providing services associated with drug treatment courts under sections 478.001 to 478.008. The private entities shall not use or make this information available to any other person for any other purpose.
