  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Beginning on the western boundary line of the state, at the northwest corner of section thirty of township thirty-eight, range thirty-three, west; thence east with the subdivisional lines to the middle of the main channel of the Marais des Cygnes River; thence down said river, in the middle of the main channel thereof, to the middle of the main channel of the Osage River; thence down the Osage River, in the (middle of the) main channel thereof, to where the range line between ranges twenty-eight and twenty-nine intersects the same; thence south with said range line to the southeast corner of township thirty-five, range twenty-nine; thence with the township line between townships thirty-four and thirty-five to the northwest corner of section one, township thirty-four, range twenty-nine; thence south with the subdivisional lines to the southeast corner of section thirty-five, township thirty-four, range twenty-nine; thence west with the township line between townships thirty-three and thirty-four to the western boundary line of the state; thence north with said boundary line of the state to the place of beginning.
