- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
For the purpose of preserving evidence of land surveys, every surveyor who establishes, restores, or reestablishes one or more corners that create a new parcel of land shall file the results of such survey with the recorder of deeds in the county or counties in which the survey is situated within sixty days after the survey has been certified.
