16-3-106. Conveyance of alcoholic beverages — opening alcoholic beverages during transit forbidden. (1) It is lawful to carry or convey alcoholic beverages to any place to which the alcoholic beverages may be lawfully delivered under this code and the rules of the department.
Terms Used In Montana Code 16-3-106
- Vessel: when used in reference to shipping, includes ships of all kinds, steamboats and steamships, canal boats, and every structure adapted to be navigated from place to place. See Montana Code 1-1-207
(2)It is unlawful to:
(a)open, break, or allow to be opened or broken any package or vessel containing an alcoholic beverage; or
(b)drink or use or allow to be drunk or used any alcoholic beverage while it is being carried or conveyed.
