44-4-1608. FirstNet exemption. This part and rules adopted in accordance with this part do not affect:
Terms Used In Montana Code 44-4-1608
- FirstNet: means a radio access network planned in connection with a first responder network authority's nationwide public safety broadband network for the purpose of supporting public safety voice and data communications. See Montana Code 44-4-1603
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
(1)the state‘s ability to use FirstNet, including new services and applications available with FirstNet; or
(2)any obligations or responsibilities related to FirstNet in accordance with federal statute.
