44-4-1609. Rulemaking authority. (1) The department may adopt rules necessary to implement this part. Rules may include provisions for:
Terms Used In Montana Code 44-4-1609
- Department: means the department of justice established in 2-15-2001. See Montana Code 44-4-1603
- Public safety communications system: means a system used primarily by public safety agencies for transmitting and receiving voice, data, or both voice and data communications. See Montana Code 44-4-1603
(a)implementation of this part; and
(b)administration of the statewide public safety communications system in accordance with this part.
(2)Rules must be adopted in accordance with the Montana Administrative Procedure Act provided for in Title 2, chapter 4.
