85-7-207. Part not to conflict with other regulations. This part is not intended to conflict in any way with present statutes governing the appointment and duties of water commissioners on adjudicated water right streams or the operation of statutes as to the jurisdiction of courts over such commissioners and water rights and distribution of water under court decree but is for the sole purpose of making it possible for users of water out of decreed water right streams to improve the stream channel and conserve water in the best possible manner through the agency of an irrigation district, as provided for in this part.
