85-8-312. Custody of funds. The county treasurer of the county in which the court having jurisdiction of the district is located is the custodian of all funds belonging to the district, and the treasurer shall pay out the funds upon warrants drawn by the board of commissioners of the district, except that the bonds of the district and the interest coupons on the bonds are payable as they mature on presentation to the treasurer.
