A member may lend money to and transact other business with the limited cooperative association and has the same rights and obligations with respect to the loan or other transaction as a person that is not a member subject to the articles of organization or bylaws or a specific contract relating to the transaction.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 21-2911
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Organization: means a limited cooperative association, limited cooperative association governed by a law other than the Nebraska Limited Cooperative Association Act, a general partnership, a limited liability partnership, a limited partnership, a limited liability company, a business trust, a corporation, a cooperative, or any other person having a governing statute. - Person: shall include bodies politic and corporate, societies, communities, the public generally, individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, and associations. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
