Every motorboat and every vessel, except open boats, using as fuel any liquid of a volatile nature, shall be provided with such means as may be prescribed by the regulations of the commission for properly and efficiently ventilating the bilges of the engine and fuel tank compartments so as to remove any explosive or inflammable gases.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 37-1245

  • Commission: shall mean the Game and Parks Commission. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1209
  • Motorboat: shall mean any watercraft propelled in any respect by machinery, including watercraft temporarily equipped with detachable motors, but shall not include a vessel which has a valid marine document issued by the Bureau of Customs of the United States Government or any federal agency successor thereto. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1204
  • Vessel: shall mean every description of watercraft, other than a seaplane on the water, used or capable of being used as a means of transportation on water. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1203
