No person shall operate any motorboat or vessel or manipulate any water skis, surfboard, or similar device in a reckless or negligent manner so as to endanger the life, limb, or property of any person.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 37-1254

  • Motorboat: shall mean any watercraft propelled in any respect by machinery, including watercraft temporarily equipped with detachable motors, but shall not include a vessel which has a valid marine document issued by the Bureau of Customs of the United States Government or any federal agency successor thereto.   • Operate: shall mean to navigate or otherwise use a motorboat or vessel. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1208
  • Person: shall mean an individual, partnership, limited liability company, firm, corporation, association, or other entity. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1207
  • Vessel: shall mean every description of watercraft, other than a seaplane on the water, used or capable of being used as a means of transportation on water. See Nebraska Statutes 37-1203
