The department shall establish and collect fees for credentialing activities under the Hearing Instrument Specialists Practice Act as provided in sections 38-151 to 38-157.

- Hearing instrument: means any wearable instrument or device designed for or offered for the purpose of aiding or compensating for impaired human hearing and any parts, attachments, or accessories, including earmold, but excluding batteries and cords. See Nebraska Statutes 38-1504
