The Uniform Partnership Act of 1998 does not affect an action or proceeding commenced or right accrued before the act becomes operative.

- Action: shall include any proceeding in any court of this state. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
