Sec. 17.  Slavery and involuntary servitude prohibited. [Effective November 26, 2024, if the provisions of Assembly Joint Resolution No. 10 (2021) are agreed to and passed by the 2023 Legislature and approved and ratified by the voters at the 2024 General Election.]  Neither Slavery nor involuntary servitude shall ever be tolerated in this State.
