‘Administration of criminal justice’ means detection, apprehension, detention, release pending trial or after trial, prosecution, adjudication, correctional supervision or rehabilitation of accused persons or criminal offenders, and includes criminal identification activities and the collection, storage and dissemination of records of criminal history.
