1.  Except as otherwise provided in NRS 253.220, it is unlawful for a person to allow an employee to perform any work regulated pursuant to the provisions of this chapter unless the employee is registered pursuant to this chapter. The provisions of this subsection do not apply to a person licensed pursuant to this chapter.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • county: includes Carson City. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.033
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
  • population: means the number of people in a specified area as determined by the last preceding national decennial census conducted by the Bureau of the Census of the United States Department of Commerce pursuant to Section 2 of Article I of the Constitution of the United States and reported by the Secretary of Commerce to the Governor pursuant to 13 U. 2.  The Board shall require any person applying for registration pursuant to this chapter to submit a complete set of fingerprints or a receipt for electronically submitted fingerprints to the Board or to the sheriff of a county whose population is 100,000 or more who has entered into a contract with the Board to perform such services, who shall forward the fingerprints to the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation to determine the applicant’s criminal history.
