Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes > Chapter 97B - Consumer Protection From Predatory Interest

  • Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
  • decennial census date: means the first day of April of 1980 and every 10 years thereafter on which the decennial census is taken pursuant to federal law. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.050
  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.

  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
