Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 125-I:1
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
It is declared to be the public policy of the state of New Hampshire and the purpose of this chapter to promote the public health of the state by reducing human exposure to toxic chemicals by regulating releases of toxic chemicals into the ambient air.
