  • Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the governor shall designate the department of health and human services to administer the provisions of Title XX of the Social Security Act, Public Law 93-647, and the commissioner is hereby authorized to receive and distribute funds under said act.
