- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Within 30 days after a final order authorizing an issue of securities, the department shall file in the office of the secretary of state a certificate setting out the amount of the securities which it has authorized and the purposes for which the proceeds thereof may be used.
