Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 261:139
- Registration number: shall mean the number or mark assigned by the director to a vehicle. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:85
- Repairer: shall mean any person who is principally engaged in the motor vehicle business, but who is not a dealer and who has an established place of business. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:87
A repairer shall not drive motor vehicles, nor permit the same to be driven, under a repairer’s registration number except as specifically permitted under the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 261:137 to 139, inclusive.
