- Civil forfeiture: The loss of ownership of property used to conduct illegal activity.
Payments made under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 284:23 shall be made no later than 3 calendar days after each racing day. Failure to make payments in the time prescribed shall subject the licensee to a civil forfeiture of $50 for each day the payments are overdue.
