Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 317-A:29
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- registered mail: when used in connection with the requirement for notice by mail shall mean either registered mail or certified mail. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:32-a
- sworn: when applied to public officers required by the constitution to take oaths therein prescribed, shall refer to those oaths; when applied to other officers it shall mean sworn to the faithful discharge of the duties of their offices before a justice of the peace, or other person authorized to administer official oaths in such cases. Any manager, proprietor, partnership, association, or corporation specified in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 317-A:28 shall, within 10 days after demand made by the vice-president of the board by registered mail, furnish to the vice-president the names and addresses of all persons practicing dentistry or dental hygiene in their or its place of business or under their or its control, together with a sworn statement showing by what license or authority said persons are practicing.
