Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 318:2

  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
There shall be a pharmacy board consisting of 5 members; including 4 practicing pharmacists, at least one of whom shall be a full-time hospital pharmacist, and one public member, each to be appointed by the governor, with the approval of the council, to a term of 5 years. No member shall be appointed to more than 2 consecutive terms and no member shall serve for more than 10 consecutive years. Only board members provided for in this section shall have the authority to vote in board determinations. The public member shall be a resident of the state of New Hampshire who is not, and never has been, a member of the pharmacy profession or the spouse of any such person. The public member shall not have, and shall never have had, a material financial interest in either the provision of pharmaceutical services or an activity directly related to pharmaceutical services, including the representation of the board or its predecessor or the profession for a fee at any time during the 5 years preceding the date of appointment.
