Under the New Hampshire Revised Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:Class | Prison | Fine |

Class B felony | up to 7 years | up to $4,000 |
Any officer, agent or servant of a carrier who, with intent to defraud, issues or aids in issuing a duplicate or additional negotiable bill for goods in violation of the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 382-A:7-402, knowing that a former negotiable bill for the same goods or any part of them is outstanding and uncancelled, shall be guilty of a class B felony.
