Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 369:10

  • commission: as used in this title , means the public utilities commission. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 362:1
  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
No unincorporated person or partnership, being a public utility through the ownership, operation or management of property devoted to public use, shall be required to apply to the commission for authority to issue notes or bonds unless the same are to be secured by mortgage of the property so devoted to public use.
