Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 547-C:17

  • petitioner: shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51
  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
If on the trial of an issue involving property, as provided in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 547-C:10, it is determined that the petitioner has no share or interest in the property, or less than the petitioner claims, the petitionee shall recover the taxable costs of such trial.
