Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 612:11

  • Extradition: The formal process of delivering an accused or convicted person from authorities in one state to authorities in another state.
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Any officer who shall deliver to the agent for extradition of the demanding state a person in his custody under the governor’s warrant in wilful disobedience to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 612:10 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
