Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 26:2H-14.1
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
As used in this act:
a. “Department” means the State Department of Health.
b. “Heat emergency” means an indoor air temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit or higher for a continuous period of four hours or longer.
